It took many years to find her, but Karen Dittman, AKA "Dot Woman," is our official social commentary artist. Her collection "My Body Belongs to Me" has been shown at many of our Womanifest networking celebrations and events, amplifying women's voices on a subject that has become even more urgent today, following the overturn of Roe v. Wade. The collection was inspired by real-life photos from international news networks chronicling the FEMEN and Free Amina protests, showing the participating women being subjugated and humiliated by police and military forces.
